Chapter 2: Mystic High
(Dongho P.O.V)
It’s time to wake up, sweetie.” I heard my umma called.
Today was my first day of school and I have to make a good impression, I don’t want to be late on my first day of school.
I got up, washed up, and got ready for school. I remember what Kibum and Kevin said, I have to make sure I don’t attract attention. I don’t want to have the same outcome like my old school.
I ran downstairs when umma called to me, “Dongho, your breakfast is ready.”
I sat down to eat pancake sided with eggs and bacon. “It’s your first day at school, please don’t cause any problem.”
“Ok umma.” I rushed to finish it fast so I don’t have to listen to her lectures, “Bye umma.”
I rushed outside to face the gloomy morning, dam there’s still no sunlight, the sun suppose to rise already.
“Dongho?”
I turn to see Kevin walking toward me, “Hey Kevin.”
“you ready to start school?” he asked.
“I don’t know I guess.” I shrugged.
“Well come on, I got some friends I want you to meet.” he grabbed my hands and dragged me to god knows where.
We ended up at the most beautiful place I ever been to, it was so hard to describe, only that it seem like a dream…the garden was beautiful I thought I was looking at Garden of Eden. The white building was huge I was as large as a castle. Beautiful just beautiful.
Kevin dragged me to a group of guys who see busy in their train of thoughts.
“Guys.”
Everyone turned…I hate being the center of attention.
I feel so out of place. It seem like an eternity, their eyes never left me.
“This is Dongho, he’s the new kid, and my new friends.” Kevin smiled.
“Hello everyone.” I force myself to say.
“I’m Soohyun, this is my boyfriend, Alex.” I was so surprised when he blurted that…wow a gay couple.
The boy name Alex lightly punched Soohyun lightly in the rib, “Hello, I’m Alex, nice to meet you.” he smiled.
I smiled in return, “Nice to meet you too.”
“What’s up? My name is Eli.” he looked very Americanize.
“Hi Eli.” I said in English.
“Now that’s cool.” Eli laughed.
“And I’m Kiseop.” I said trying not to sound to hyper active.
“Now, Dongho…you remember what we said, right?” Kibum asked.
“Yea, I remember.”
“Well there they are now, remember their faces so you know who not to get in contact with.”
I turn to see the bunch, wow…they were beautiful and sleek…it felt foreign to my tongue, calling another man beautiful.
The tallest seem to glide his way to the girls, he walk as if he was a prince like I’ve seen in many dramas about royal families.
As for the shortest one, he looked well built, I bet he’s a major player in the school. Especially when he goes around smiling like that to every girl he met.
The lean one who had a skinny frame, all though well-tone, seem to be the funniest one. Especially now since he managed to make the girl around him laugh so happily.
The 4th one, eyes smaller than mines, look as if he was the wise one. The way he lightly pet the sad looking girl’s shoulder, offering a reassuring smile as she magically started looking oh so happy. What the hell?! That is stupid.
Lastly, the 5th one, the panda look alike. He seems quiet, who had that eerie feeling about him, seems to be the one with the brain. Well, he look smart.
“These are the one I’m suppose to look out for?” I asked
“Yes.” they all said.
“I don’t know about the rest, but I sure don’t want to go near the tall one. He seems dangerous than the other, well…the 5th one does too, but he look smart, smart one usually the friendliest.” I judged.
“Nevertheless, if you value your privacy…stay out of their way.” Kibum warned me.
I guess it doesn’t hurt to listen…

What’s wrong TOP?” Tae asked me.
“I feel as if she’s here.” it was the smell, the scent of her, it made my mind ran wild.
“Who?” it was G.D turn to ask.
“Nampreya…” her name was like a caress.
“It can’t be, she’s dead.” Tae was right…she is dead, gone from this earth…taking every ounce of soul I had left in my body. But the scent, I’m sure it was hers.
“You sure? Or are you imagining it?” Dae asked me.
“I’m not imagining it…it’s her scent.” I’m sure of it.
Tae, sympathetically, turn to me then, “TOP, we knew much you’d love her…but face it, she gone. She’s not apart of this world anymore.”
He’s right…I must be imagining things. If she really was alive and here right now, she would have run to me with open arms full of love…she love me, didn’t she?
Nampreya…

After Kibum and Kevin took turn telling me who was ok to talk to and who wasn’t. I was already exhausted and in need of sleep.
“Can you remember that?” Kevin asked me.
“Yes, everything.” I forced a smile
“Oh! There’s one more.” Alex smiled.
I nearly broke my teeth for smiling too much, I really groan aloud with frustration. How many rules are there?! “What now?”
“The school on the boarder line to us, which is on the other of our fence…don’t ever cross it. It’s dangerous” looking at Kevin made me shiver.
God, he looked frighten, now I’m even afraid to walk near it. Can it be that bad?
“Let’s go, school is starting.” Eli said.
I was thankful that I had everyone of them as a classmate, but then, I notice the kingka also had our class. This is gonna be a long school year…I know it…
